A girl from the Computer Science department of the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) has been offered the highest package offer as of yet, which is more than Rs. 1.45 crores!

IIIT Delhi released a press release wherein they talked about how this year has been a great year for placement offers.

IIIT Delhi’s Glorious Placement Drives
Multiple leading companies have been to the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi as a part of the campus placement drive, such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Qualcomm, Nvidia, Wadhwani AI, WDC, Tower Research, HSBC MathWorks, Harmon Kardon, Reliance &Samsung R&D, and more!
As per the press release, the students who are set to graduate in 2020 have received 562 offers, of which 310 are full-time job offers, and the rest are for internships. An international offer by none other than Facebook has been made to a student of IIIT.Â
Highest & Biggest Offer: Rs 1.45 Crore/Year
But the highest offer of this year has been given to a Computer Science student, and she has been offered a huge package of more than Rs. 1.45 crore. There are two students who have been offered packages of Rs. 43 lakh and Rs. 33 lakh too.
As for internship offers, there have been 252 internship offers. There have been eight offers from Nvidia, four offers from NetApp, and Adobe also made internship offers to four students.
In addition to that, the institute has also received 108 internship offers for BTech pre-final batches students, i.e., those who will graduate in 2021.
A student of the B.Tech CSE 2021 batch also was offered an internship at Facebook with a stipend of Rs. 3.31 lakhs. Four other B.Tech CSE students of the 2021 batch also received internship offers from Tower Research with a stipend of Rs. 1 Lakh.
Apparently, the current campus average compensation is Rs 16.33 lakhs, and the compensation of the present median has been Rs. 14.85 lakh.
