Realme XT, World’s 1st 64MP Camera Smartphone Launching This September: India Launch, Price, Specs & USPs!
Realme will unveil world’s first 64MP camera smartphone in September. The company has already disclosed the name, and the world’s first 64MP smartphone would be an upgraded version of the current Realme mid-range flagship, Realme X. The Realme 64MP smartphone is going to be called Realme XT.
Realme XT will feature a similar quad camera system as the new Realme 5 series.
Xiaomi is also working on it’s own four camera smartphone, expected to be Redmi Note 8 Pro. An image has been leaked recently, and it shows a four camera system on a Redmi smartphone. As Realme 5 series, the upcoming Redmi Note 8 series will also come with quad camera setups. Unlike Realme 5 Pro, the Note 8 Pro may come with the 64MP camera instead of a 48MP shooter.
Realme XT: World’s First 64MP Camera Smartphone To Be Launched In India
The upcoming Realme XT is going to be the world’s first 64MP camera smartphone, and it will be first launched in India. The company has already been teasing the device for long, and it will be an upgraded version of the current Realme midrange flagship, Realme X. It was launched last month starting at Rs 16,999.
The 64MP smartphone will see an upgrade in terms of the current features on Realme X.
As Realme 5 series, Realme XT will come with a rear quad camera system. The current Realme X comes with a dual camera system.
Also, Realme XT will have the upgraded 64MP Samsung camera sensor compared to the 48MP Sony IMX586 on Realme X. While Realme X came with an additional 5MP depth sensor just, the 64MP sensor on Realme XT will have three additional sensors for different purposes: an ultra wide-angle sensor, a depth sensor and a 4cm macro sensor.
Realme XT Camera Performance: How Good Are They?
The Realme 64MP camera smartphone with Samsung GW1 has a 1/1.72″ sensor. This helps the smartphone to create shots 1.6 micron individual pixel size. The imaging sensing technology uses Tetracell to produce 16-megapixel images as well.
The primary camera 64-megapixel shooter can take very detailed shots.
It has already been compared to the 48MP sensor shots multiple times, and the 64MP sensor beat them by leaps. The samples are a lot better than the 48-megapixel sensor images, the current best in the market. The Realme images show better colours, more details, better shadows with blacks and accurate description.
Realme XT further uses AI to add in the best of details, filters and adjust according to different lighting conditions.
There’s an even exposure in all the shots shared with right dynamic range. The camera can zoom in without much struggle or without losing details. The post image processing is also playing a major role here by retaining most of the details in different lighting conditions.
Realme XT India Launch: What Will Be The Price?
Realme XT will launch in September before Diwali, the company confirmed. The smartphone is going to be a part of the Realme X-series with premium mid-range features. Realme XT will come with a notchless Super AMOLED display, pop-up selfie camera, in-display fingerprint sensor and a top-end Snapdragon processor.
If the smartphone drops in before Redmi Note 8 Pro, Realme XT would become the first smartphone to come with a 64MP quad camera setup using Samsung’s new 64MP GW1 sensor.
The Realme 64MP quad camera smartphone will offer various shooting options like wide-angle, macro and portrait camera as on the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro.
The Samsung’s 64MP GW1 sensor uses 4-in-1 pixel merging technology to merge four 0.8 micron pixels into a single 1.6-micron pixel to offer detailed images in low light conditions. It can shoot raw 64MP photos with the main sensor. Realme XT is expected to launch at around 20,000 or maybe below for the base model.
