Free Food Inside Trains?
EaseMyTrip is a ticket booking and travel website, and if a passenger books train tickets using EaseMyTrip website/app, then they can get absolutely free food.
The free food will be provided by RelFood, which an official IRCTC partner for delivering food insider trains and in railway stations.
Rikant Pitti, COO &Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip described this offer as a game changer, as he said, “Tiresome long journeys become easier when you have the company of good food. By joining hands with RelFood, we would now be able to offer fresh-delish food for free to our IRCTC customers.”
How To Get This Offer?
The passenger needs to visit EaseMyTrip website or app, and Trains option to book an online ticket. The interface uses IRCTC’s web-servers in the backend to book your tickets, same way as Paytm or MakeMyTrip, Yatra’s interface works.
Once the ticket has been booked, the passenger will get a coupon code in their email, which can be used while ordering food from RelFood.
The passenger will get fresh food inside the train, and it will be completely free.
This is the first time that such a partnership or a deal has been offered for railway passenger.
Which Cities Will Be Covered Under This Offer?
RelFood, being an official IRCTC partner for delivering food inside trains, and railway stations, have a big network which covers almost every big city in India.
As per their website, they deliver food across 65 cities.

EaseMyTrip has confirmed that the delivery of food will be covered across all major train routes in India.

Our Opinion
EaseMyTrip has certainly initiated a very interesting offer, which will positively impact all railway passengers. In longer routes, passenger does need food, and if they are getting a free coupon for the same, then its an icing on the cake.
However, we would like to know how RelFood maintains the quality of food being delivered, and whether they are able to timely deliver the food or not.
