Maruti Upgrades These Models To BS-6
As from the earlier development, the Ministry of Petroleum will ban all the vehicles which are non compliant with BS-VI from April 2020.Â
This is the reason that every car manufacturer is now focussing on making their cars BS-6 complaint, so that they are able to sell their cars after April, 2020.
For the same reason, Maruti has upgraded their 6 best selling cars into BS-6 complaint.
These are: Alto 800, WagonR (1.2), Swift, Dzire, Baleno as well as the Ertiga MPV.
XL6 will soon join the list.
Note here, that Maruti has decided to keep BS-4 version for diesel cars, as they plan to phase out diesel vehicles (consumer) soon.
