Nokia 9 PureView Launched: Top Features, Specs, Price, Launch Offers
HMD Global has finally unveiled the much-awaited flagship smartphone in the country, Nokia 9 PureView. After being unveiled at the MWC event in Barcelona back in February, it’s now launching in India after a good five months.
The smartphone gained worldwide popularity for its rear five camera setup.
The penta-camera module being the primary USP, the smartphone in all does stand out well to have good features in almost all the departments.
The five camera setup can create images of at least 60MP of imaging data, which can also be edited on Adobe Lightroom app and Google Photos. Nokia 9 PureView also has an updated Pro Camera UI for the new models offering more features and control over the camera.

Nokia 9 PureView comes with a 5.99-inch 2K pOLED display in an 18:9 widescreen aspect ratio. It features a PureDisplay technology supporting HDR10. It’s a glass sandwich body on the out supporting Qi wireless charging and. The comes with a 6000 series aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.

The device is powered by the previous generation Qualcomm flagship chip, Snapdragon 845 chipset. Coming to the major feature, the smartphone comes with a penta camera setup with Zeiss optics. The five cameras are 12MP sensors with an f/1.8 aperture.
All the cameras shoot simultaneously to offer a single high-resolution image. They work together to produce raw images with 60MP of imaging data. The captured images can be edited later using the preloaded Adobe Lightroom app and Google Photos.
Its an Android One device, so Nokia 9 would be running on stock Android. It’s the Android 9 Pie with guaranteed upgrades till next two Android versions and security updates. The whole system is backed by a 3,320mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Nokia 9 PureView Price In India: Worth It?
Nokia 9 PureView has been launched in India in a single variant at Rs 49,999. The company previously launched Nokia 8 Sirocco last year at a similar price. Nokia 9 PureView will be available in a single Midnight Blue colour option starting July 10. It will be up for sale via Nokia official website and Flipkart.
Coming to offline availability, Nokia 9 PureView will be available from July 17 across top mobile retail outlets in the country.
The price seems a bit overpriced given the current flagships available in the market.
The smartphone will face direct competition from OnePlus 7 Pro at the price, which incidentally has far better features at a lesser price. The camera being the only big factor, Nokia 9 will face a hard time in the segment to make a mark.
