Redmi K20 Series To Be Sold Via Flipkart: Here’s The Pricing & Availability Details

The upcoming Redmi K20 series will be available via Flipkart, both the Redmi K20 smartphones: Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. The launch date is out as well, as the device will land in the country on July 17. Redmi K20 series was unveiled in China a few weeks back.

Also, the company is rumoured to be already into the final phase of launching Mi A3, its latest Android One device.

The top variant, the Redmi K20 Pro will take on the likes of top entry-level flagships OnePlus 7, Asus 6Z and the regular Redmi K20 will go up against the just-launched Moto One Vision, Samsung Galaxy M40 and the much-hyped upcoming Realme X.

Redmi K20 Series Will Be Available Via Flipkart

Xiaomi has unveiled the final date of the availability of Redmi K20 series in the country. The K20 smartphones will launch on July 17 and will be sold via Flipkart. Both Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will be available via the Walmart-owned e-commerce site.

The company recently completed five years of business in the country.

Xiaomi is celebrating the huge success in India with five new products every week. Already a few have been launched, and it will sum off the five year celebrations with Redmi K20 series.

The company also recently confirmed a new variant of the Redmi K20 Pro, a Marvel Hero Limited Edition. The Redmi K20 Pro Marvel Hero Limited Edition may launch in India on the same day as Redmi K20 series with the Iron Man them.

Coming to the leaked prices, Redmi K20 India price should start somewhere at around 19,000 or 20,000 rupees. It will take on the upcoming Realme X in India, while the Pro model, Redmi K20 Pro may start at around 25,000 or even less (according to some of the rumours).

Redmi K20 Pro: Specs, Features & Price

The device comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio offering 91.9 percent screen to body ratio with DC dimming support and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Redmi K20 Pro is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM. Redmi K20 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.

Coming to optics, the smartphone has an AI-powered triple rear camera system featuring a 48-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.75 lens, a 13-megapixel secondary shooter with a wide-angle lens, and a third 8-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 lens. There is 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera onboard as well.

Finally, Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support with all connectivity options and sensors.

Redmi K20 Pro is available in four variants in China. It has been launched starting at 2,499 yuan (around Rs 25,250) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The mid-version model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 2,599 yuan (around Rs 26,250).

Finally, the top-end models featuring 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at 2,799 yuan (around Rs 28,250) and 2,999 yuan (around 30,250) respectively.

Redmi K20: Specs, Features & Price

Redmi K20 sports a 3D curved body on the out with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display on top. It has an integrated in-display fingerprint sensor offering 91.9 percent screen-to-body. Redmi K20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor coupled with Adreno 618 GPU.

The Redmi smartphone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage supporting additional storage.

Coming to optics, Redmi K20 will come with a triple camera system. It comprises of a 48MP primary Sony IMX 582 sensor paired with a 13MP secondary and an 8MP tertiary sensor. Up, it sports a 20MP motorised selfie sensor inside the pop-up camera.

The device runs on Android 9 Pie with the company’s own MIUI 10 skin on top. The whole system is backed by a 4,000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging technology.

Redmi K20 in China has been launched at Yuan 1,999 (around Rs 20,000) for the base variant with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. The mid-end models costs Yuan 2,099 (around Rs 21,000) with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and finally the top variant with 8GB RAM with 256GB is priced at Yuan 2,599 (around Rs 26,150).
