Redmi K20 Pro Iron Man Edition Announced, To Challenge Realme X Spiderman Edition!
Soon after Realme announced its own Spiderman editioned smartphone, it’s now Xiaomi who’s set to launch a Marvel editioned Redmi K20 Pro. It’s going to be none other than Iron Man, and a special Redmi K20 Pro will launch with a special Iron Man theme.
The company confirmed the news just ahead of Redmi K20 series launch in India.
Realme will also be unveiling its Spiderman editioned smartphone in the country, Realme X Spiderman special edition. Later, Xiaomi is also expected to launch the special Iron Man editioned Redmi K20 Pro in the country, probably in a few days weeks the India launchd of regular Redmi K20 Pro.
Redmi K20 Pro Iron Man Edition: Will It Come To India?
Xiaomi has now launched a new Redmi K20 Pro smartphone in China, a Marvel Hero Limited Edition. Redmi K20 Pro will launch on July 17 in the country with the customised Iron Man finish. The company previously also unveiled a special Note 7 Pro Marvel Edition.
The upcoming Redmi K20 Pro will also launch in a Marvel-based theme paying tribute to the Marvel series.
The company previously tied up with Marvel to launch a few Marvel editioned smartphones based on different themes of Marvel characters. The new Redmi K20 Pro Iron Man phone is going to be a limited edition phone with an Avengers-themed back cover as well.
The Redmi K20 Pro Marvel Hero Iron Man Limited Edition will cost higher than the standard Redmi K20 Pro. The India launch hasn’t been confirmed, neither the pricing of the phone or availability details have been shared.
Redmi K20 Pro Marvel Hero Limited Edition: Specs & Features
The Redmi K20 Pro Marvel Hero Iron Man Limited Edition will have an Iron Man mask, a blue-coloured back cover and an Avenger’s themed gift box. The device comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio offering 91.9 percent screen to body ratio with DC dimming support and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Redmi K20 Pro is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM. Redmi K20 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
Coming to optics, the smartphone has an AI-powered triple rear camera system featuring a 48-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.75 lens, a 13-megapixel secondary shooter with a wide-angle lens, and a third 8-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 lens. There is 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera onboard as well.
Finally, Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support with all connectivity options and sensors.
Redmi K20 Pro is available in four variants in China. It has been launched starting at 2,499 yuan (around Rs 25,250) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The mid-version model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 2,599 yuan (around Rs 26,250).
Finally, the top-end models featuring 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at 2,799 yuan (around Rs 28,250) and 2,999 yuan (around 30,250) respectively.
