The phone has very thin bezels and a narrow chin, along with one of the smallest notches ever seen, thus giving a wide display. The glass on both sides is curved and the phone has a great screen to body ratio.
However, it is quite unclear if the phone employs Gorilla Glass in the front or in the back.
Another unique feature of this phone is sound on display, which means when you are on a call, the display emits sounds and vibrations. Also, this phone doesn’t come with an earpiece.

Huawei P30 Pro functions on Kirin 980 Octa Core processor, which is a good and capable processor. The processor along with GPU Turbo 3.0 enhances the gaming performance overall.
There are two modes to this phone, and the Antutu scores differ for each one. The Antutu score for the normal mode is around 2 lakh, whereas, for the performance mode the score is higher but might drain the battery quicker.
The battery of the Huawei P30 Pro is 4200 mAh but does not make the phone heavy at all. There is a 40-watt supercharger in the box, which impressively, charges the phone up to 70% in just 30 minutes.
A bonus point is that the phone supports a 15-watt wireless charging facility with reverse wireless charging too.
Sensors
The phone is a flagship level phone and has all the sensors, including fingerprint and face unlock. However, there is one downside to the inbuilt fingerprint sensor, that is the sensor is located a bit below comfort level and accessing the sensor can be tedious.
The phone has a face unlock sensor too, which is not a safety feature but functions at a swift rate. However, the phone unlocks with an artificial face mask too, which is a downside to this phone.
Audio & Visuals
Regarding the video and display of colors, the phone is quite satisfactory and has a bright and vibrant color display, giving it a saturated look.
The quality of the audio is quite satisfactory, but even at maximum volume, the phone’s audio is considerably low. The volume during a voice call is also low.
The phone’s most special feature is the phone’s IP68 certification, which makes it splashproof and resistant to water, or rains. We tested this particular property and the claim is authentic. Plan your next trip to the beach without the fear of getting your phones soaked!
