Redmi Go Launched at Rs. 4,499

Xiaomi’s first ever Android Go smartphone has been launched and at 4,499 bucks only, whereas, the phone was estimated to be available for less than that. Redmi Go comes with a basic design and thick bezels too. The phone has only one variant 1GB RAM and 8GB, however, the ROM can be expanded up to 128 GB.

Xiaomi’s Mi Pay to Combat with Paytm

Xiaomi has launched its new online payment app, Mi Pay, which will also have a UPI facility. They have unveiled a special offer for its users in India. Users can win 100 Redmi Note 7, 50 Mi TVs provided they make payments using the Xiaomi’s Mi Pay. This app will be backed by ICICI Bank. Mi Pay is a closed app which will enable users to transfer money between the app users.

Samsung Galaxy A40 Leaked

German website WinFuture.de has allegedly leaked official renders of Galaxy A40. Apparently, the phone will have an Infinity-U Display and a waterdrop notch. Rumour is that the phone will function on Exynos 7885 SoC, and will have 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Additionally, it will have the Android 9 Pie update.

Xiaomi’s Foldable Smartphone

Foldable smartphones are the latest development in smartphone technology and Xiaomi’s foldable smartphone is set to make its debut in the second quarter of 2019. It will probably be called Mi Fold or Mi Flex and will cost half as much as Samsung Galaxy Fold – which is Samsung’s recently launched foldable smartphone. Also, it is said to be functioning on Snapdragon 855 chipset and will come with 8GB to 10GB of RAM.

Oppo AX5s is Official

Oppo AX5s is set to be launched in the mid-range phone category and it will function on Helio P35 SoC. the previous phone, AX5 was powered with Snapdragon 450 SoC. the specifications of the phone are also out and it will have a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch. It will have Android 8.1 with Color OS 5.2 and a 4,230mAh battery, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB ROM.

Apple iPad Air, iPad Mini launched at Indian Pricing

Apple launched the iPad Air (2019) and the iPad Mini (2019), its midrange devices that will be working on Apple’s A12 Bionic chipset with a neural engine. Both the devices will come in two variants – WiFi and WiFi + LTE. The iPad Mini will be priced at Rs 34,900 for the WiFi model and Rs 45,900 for the WiFi + cellular model. Price of the iPad Air starts at Rs 44,900 for the WiFi model and Rs 55,900 for the WiFi + cellular model.
