Amazon India has announced the dates of their special Diwali sales, which directly challenges Flipkart. Once again.
Within 24 hours of Flipkart announcing their special Diwali sales, Amazon India too has jumped in, and announced the dates of their own Diwali sales.
Named as their previous Great Indian Festival, Amazon India’s Diwali sale will start from November 2nd, and end on November 5th.
Meanwhile, ICICI Bank has announced the launch of a special co-branded credit card with Amazon Pay, which promises more discounts, and more savings.

Amazon’s Diwali Sales: Top Deals On Smartphones
OnePlus 6T
No dount, OnePlus’ latest flagship smartphone is the biggest craze right now, and some interesting deals have been rolled out for the same.
To start with, today is the last day (October 30th) to pre-book OnePlus 6T from Amazon India, and avail free USB type-C earphones and Rs 2000 instant discounts from ICICI and HDFC Banks.
The actual sales start from November 1st, after which we are expecting some more deals on OnePlus 6T.
Deals On Samsung, RealMe, Redmi
This time, Amazon is focussing on Samsung, Realme and Redmi smartphones, and some interesting deals have been offered.
For instance, during the festival season (November 2nd to November 5th), shoppers can get Rs 6000 additional buyback cash on their old mobiles, EMI offer starting at Rs 999 per month, assured future exchange value upto 70% of the new phone, and top accessories at just Rs 89.
The actual offers on smartphones will be revealed once the festive season kickstarts.
Amazon Shopping Festival: Highlights
When it comes to payment, then Amazon has introduced some nice initiatives:
- 10% discount for HDFC Bank debit card and credit card customers
- No Cost EMI from Bajaj Finserv
- 10% extra discount, once the shopper crosses a threshold value (will be revealed later)
- Only on November 2nd: Shop for Rs 500, and get free movie vouchers, meal and mobile recharge vouchers
ICICI Bank + Amazon Pay Co-Branded Credit Cards
Meanwhile, to complement the occasion, ICICI Bank and Amazon has decided to launch a co-branded credit card.
The USP of this co-branded credit card is that, Amazon Pay users can get 5% reward points on all shopping done on the website, and the points can directly convert into rupees: 1 point is same as 1 Re.
Users who are eligible for this co-branded credit card can view the option to apply on their Amazon Pay account, and once approved, can start using the digital version of the card immediately.
The timing of the launch of this card is perfect, as Amazon customers, and other online shoppers are gearing up for the festive season.
