The timing here is very important, and Flipkart gets an upperhand here, compared to Amazon. Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sales will kickstart from October 10th, which marks the beginning of Navratri. And this period is considered auspicious for doing shopping. The sales period ends on October 14th, which means that online shoppers will have 5 days to complete their shopping.
Collaborations With Payment Partners!
For this year’s Big Billion Day sales, Flipkart has exclusively partnered with Mastercard to introduce stunning discounts and offers. As per initial reports, HDFC Bank has been roped in to provide extra discounts and payment options for both debit and credit card users. This year, we may expect features such as No Cost EMI, Debit Card EMI, Pay Later for all online products for Bajaj’s Finserv EMI cards users. PhonePe users can also expect some special discounts this year.
Special Credit Line of Rs 60,0000!
As we reported earlier, Flipkart has launched a special credit facility, wherein users can get credit line upto Rs 60,000. Based on your previous shopping history, and credit score, Flipkart will offer you credit facility upto Rs 60,000. As per Flipkart, this has been done for those who don’t have a traditional credit line (read Credit Cards).
Sizzling Deals On The Table!
As per insider reports, the biggest deals this year will be offered on gadgets and electronics products, besides fashion and garments. Users can expect upto 75% discount on smartphones, TVs, laptops, digital cameras, SLR Cameras, tablets and more. Products such as ethnic wears, indo-western fusion dresses etc can be also offered with special deals, considering the theme of the sales. Another report states exclusive offers on furniture, large appliances such as ACs and more.
Special Offers for Flipkart Plus Users!
Yes, Flipkart Plus users will have some special deals and offers, since this is the first year of Flipkart Plus, a loyalty program launched in August this year. Every Flipkart Plus will be gifted ‘coins’ based on the purchase made on Flipkart.com. On spending of every Rs 250, Flipkart Plus users will get one coin. Per Flipkart user, 20 coins have been set as the limit for every purchase. These coins can be redeemed for online purchases on Flipkart.com. Besides that, Flipkart Plus users will be able to access the deals three hours prior to other users.
120 Deals in 120 Hours!
Flipkart has programmed this year’s Big Billion Days in such a manner, so as to offer 120 ‘crazy deals’ in 120 hours. The sale period will run from October 10th to October 14th, which is 5 days or 120 hours. Hence, a new offer will be introduced, every hour!
