Moto X4 Launching In India This November; Moto G6 Series To Follow
The Moto G6 series is set to launch early next year. The Moto X4 is the more premium device with a faster class of chipset.
After a delay of nearly a month, Moto’s next dual camera mid-ranger, Moto X4 will finally launch on 13th November in India. Originally it was supposed to launch in the country on October 3, but the launch was postponed for unexplained reasons.
Motorola has confirmed that the next generation of Moto X series is ready for its India launch on 13th November. The company has already launched Moto X4 at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. The smartphone is now available in European markets.

Google Assistant And Amazon Alexa Together!
One of the major highlights of the Moto X4 is that it will feature both, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, as virtual assistants in the smartphone. Now, with Echo devices and Amazon’s Alexa Voice services available in India, Moto X4 is expected to feature full-fledged Alexa.

Moto X4 was first launched at the IFA 2017 in Berlin early this year, and is already available in the European markets.
Design and Build
The Moto X4 features a metal unibody design and an anodized aluminum frame around the edges, with a 3D-contoured rear design. The fingerprint sensor remains embedded in the home button at front. The smartphone is compliant with IP68 water and dust resistance certification.
Display
The device comes with a 5.2 inch full HD LTPS IPS display. The screen features a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 424 ppi, with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top.
Hardware
The Moto X4 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. The smartphone will be available in two RAM variants; 3GB and 4GB.
Software
The smartphone will run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Motorola has already confirmed an Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Moto X4. Lately, Moto smartphones has always offered a near-stock Android experience and this one is no different.
Storage
The 3GB RAM variant comes with 32GB of on-board storage. The 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB of on-board storage. Storage on both of these can be expanded up to 2TB via an external memory card.
Camera
The Moto X4 sports a dual camera setup at the back with a 12MP dual auto-focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP ultra wide angle sensor with 120-degree depth field of view and f/2.2 aperture. The camera app has added features like wide angle shot, professional mode, depth detection, depth effects and selective focus. The cameras can record videos in 4K at 30fps. Up front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with front flash and f/2.0 aperture.
SIM Support And Connectivity
The device features a single nano-SIM slot with 4G VoLTE support. It has all the requisite sensors on board including NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, GLONASS and FM radio. It comes with a USB Type C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Battery
The smartphone packs in a 3,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Moto X4 will ship with Motorola’s Turbo Charger in the box.
Price And Variants
Moto X4 will come in 2 color variants: Super Black and Sterling Blue. It is expected to be priced at around Rs. 25,000/- and will probably go on sale via Amazon India and Motorola’s recently unveiled Moto Hub retail stores around the country.

Next year will see the return of Play to Lenovo’s Moto G lineup in the form of the Moto G6 Play (alongside the G6 and G6 Plus).

Evan Blass had revealed that the next generation of Moto G phones will launch next year. Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play will make their appearance with bigger displays, improved cameras and better design.
