TicketGoose raise INR 18 Crore from US based Indventure.

TicketGoose, an online bus ticketing company based out of Chennai has raised Rs. 18 crore from US based Indventure. This is TicketGoose’s second round of funding – prior to this, they had raise Rs. 5 crore from US based angel investors.

Currently they have a coverage of over 3000 destinations and over 250 travel partners. The site offers bus information, ticket prices, their availability and booking facility through their portal TicketGoose.com. They have aggregated information on over 10,000 routes with 20,000 buses and works with over 6,000 agents.

The funds raised would be used for expansion in other cities and expand their marketing as well technology efforts. The firm expects to cross a turnover of Rs 100 crore this financial year. [Source]

SkillWiz and MangoSense raise angel investment from Mumbai Angels

Mumbai Angels has invested undisclosed amount in 2 firms – Bangalore based career assessment company SkillWiz and Pune based mobile learning solutions company Mangosense.

SkillWiz, has developed an online platform that enables professionals to benchmark themselves against their peers and industry requirements. Based on assessment results SkillWiz users can take smarter career decisions.

Mangosense offers various products and services that revolve around creating educational content which is currently focused on young children. They have 3 main offerings including mango reader, mango books and mango store. They also have mobile apps that enable students to interactively consume educational content.

Komli Raises USD 30 million from Peepul Capital

imageOnline advertising network and marketing company, Komli has raised raised $30 million led by private equity firm Peepul Capital. Their existing investors Norwest Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners, Helion Venture Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson also participated in this round.

This is Komli’s fifth round of funding. They had previous raised $7 million in 2008 and $6 million in 2010, $15 million in 2011 and $39 million in 2012.

Komli plans to invest the amount to build technology to enhance its capabilities in mobile advertising, real-time bidding, analytics. [source]
