Vivo has launched its X500 flagship smartphone series in global markets, bringing three new devices to international buyers. The lineup includes the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max, with upgraded camera systems, high-refresh-rate displays, large batteries and MediaTek’s latest Dimensity processors.

For Indian consumers, the biggest development is that the Vivo X500 series is expected to arrive in the country by the end of November 2026. However, Vivo has not officially confirmed the India launch date or local pricing.
Vivo X500 Series: Three Models Launched Globally
The new lineup was initially introduced in China on September 21 and has now expanded to global markets, including Europe and parts of Southeast Asia.
The three models target different segments of the premium smartphone market. The standard X500 offers flagship hardware, while the X500 Pro focuses on a more compact design. The X500 Pro Max sits at the top, with a larger display and an advanced 200MP periscope camera.
Dimensity 9600 Processors Power the New Flagships
The Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, while the standard X500 uses the Dimensity 9600M.
Display sizes vary across the lineup. The standard X500 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The X500 Pro has a smaller 6.36-inch screen, while the Pro Max gets a larger 6.85-inch display. Both Pro models support high-resolution panels and 144Hz refresh rates.
All three smartphones run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.
Vivo X500 Pro Max Gets a 200MP Periscope Camera
Camera technology is one of the biggest highlights of the new series. The Vivo X500 Pro Max features a 50MP primary camera alongside a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.
The X500 Pro, meanwhile, comes with a 64MP telephoto camera. Both Pro models also feature 50MP ultra-wide cameras and support an optional Zeiss telephoto extender with a 400mm-equivalent focal length.
The Pro models support 4K slow-motion recording at up to 240fps, while the Pro Max additionally supports 8K video recording at 30fps.
Large Batteries and Fast Charging
Battery capacity is another major attraction. The standard Vivo X500 packs a 7,500mAh battery, while the X500 Pro comes with a 6,510mAh unit. The Pro Max offers an 8,000mAh battery in its Chinese version, although capacities may vary across international markets.
All three smartphones support 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
Vivo X500 Series Global Pricing
The Vivo X500 Pro starts at EUR 1,399 (approximately ₹1.48 lakh) for its 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration in Europe.
The X500 Pro Max starts at EUR 1,599 (approximately ₹1.69 lakh) for the 256GB version. Its 512GB and 1TB variants are priced at EUR 1,799 and EUR 2,199, respectively.
The standard X500 is available in Malaysia, starting at MYR 4,699 (approximately ₹1.09 lakh) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
These are international prices and should not be treated as expected Indian retail prices. Vivo is yet to announce India-specific pricing.
With the X500 series expected to reach India by November-end, the Pro Max could become one of Vivo’s most ambitious camera-focused flagship smartphones. More details about Indian variants, pricing and availability should emerge closer to the launch.
