BEML Produces Ten Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains Ahead of Launch

Ten Vande Bharat Sleeper trains have been produced by Bengaluru’s government-owned Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).

The other trains will be introduced gradually after the first one is authorized for use.

The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai is producing eight to ten more Vande Bharat Sleeper trains.

BEML and ICF have been working together to develop the train coaches.

The Vande Bharat Sleeper train can travel between 160 and 240 km/h.

The fastest trains in operation at the moment are the Rajdhani, Shatabdi, and Vande Bharat (chair car), which can reach speeds of up to 130 km/h.
