Xiaomi has announced MIUI 14 update along with the new Xiaomi 13 series.
And now, Xiaomi has shared a list of phones that will receive this new update.
The Xiaomi 13 series launch event at MWC 2023 came to a close with the company announcing a list of 18 devices that would soon receive MIUI 14 software.
List of Phones To Get MIUI 14 Update in 2023 Q1
Even though Xiaomi refers to it as a “rollout schedule,” no timeline was given. As per speculations, the rollout will begin by the end of Q1, but it’s likely that the majority of the phones on the list will have to wait much longer.
This is not a comprehensive list; additional devices will eventually receive MIUI 14 service. Furthermore, the MIUI 14 update does not include Android 13 as well.
In the first quarter of 2023, a number of Xiaomi devices will receive the MIUI 14 update, and these include the Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 Lite, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T, Mi 11, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Mi 11 Lite 5G, and Mi 11 Lite, according to information provided by the company.
MIUI 14: What Does It Offer?
You can share your photos and cloud subscription services with up to 9 people using the most recent MIUI 14 version. To share things more quickly with other people, one only needs to set up a family account. Users can now turn off notifications for certain apps and the custom Android skin now automatically compresses less-used apps.
There also is a feature that merges duplicate files which will free up space on your phone. The company asserts that the new version can more accurately identify and extract text from Gallery images. Users who are concerned about their privacy can now rest easy because Xiaomi says end-to-end encryption and local on-device processing of user data have improved privacy.
The MIUI 14 version’s design updates include larger, modifiable folder icons and new widget options that come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Additionally, a new toggle in the control centre makes it simpler for Xiaomi users to connect with other Xiaomi accessories, such as TWS earbuds. Additionally, some internal adjustments were made, such as CPU and GPU performance optimizations at the kernel level.
