On 12 February, Chinese technology giant, Xiaomi unveiled its Redmi Buds 5 wireless earbuds in India.

The house of Xiaomi TWS falls into the affordable segment sporting 12.4mm dynamic drivers with hybrid noise cancellation, and up to 38 hours battery life with fast charging support.
Interestingly, all these features are offered at a price lower than Rs 3,000.
The Redmi Buds 5 earbuds other feature includes 46dB “hybrid noise cancellation” which the company claims to block out 99.5 percent of background noise.
They have inserted 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers inside these buds, hence promising “exceptional sound quality across all frequencies.”
Besides this, it comes with dual mic setup and AI voice enhancement further ensuring “unmatchable call quality even in windy conditions”, according to Xiaomi.

These earbuds have a companion Xiaomi Earbuds App.
Further, they support three transparency modes, a choice of deep, balanced, and light noise cancellation, and standard, enhanced treble, enhanced bass, and enhanced voice audio.
In addition to this, Redmi Buds 5 earbuds come with features like dual-device pairing and find your earphones, another value addition.
When it comes to the battery life, these buds promised to deliver up to 38 hours of battery life with the case while fast charging allows for up to 2 hours of playtime with only 5 minutes of charging, Xiaomi confirmed.
For pricing, the Redmi Buds 5 earbuds are priced at Rs 2,999 in India.
It will be available for purchase across Mi.com, Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Homes and Xiaomi retail partners from Feb 20, 2024.
They are anticipated to be offered at Rs 2,499 (Rs 500 discount) with the purchase of the Redmi Note 13 series or Xiaomi and Redmi Pad for a limited period.
When it comes to the color choices, the Redmi Buds 5 will come in Fusion Purple, Fusion Black, and Fusion White color.
