OnePlus has launched its latest mid-range smartphone the OnePlus Ace 2V in China.
Revamped version
The 2V is an alternate version of the OnePlus Ace 2, aka OnePlus 11R.
One major upgrade is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor at the helm.
Color options include Mint Green and Black.
Price
There are three variants- a 12GB RAM and 256GB memory variant which is priced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs 27,145).
Then there is the higher memory variant which comes with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage and is priced at CNY 2,499 (around Rs 29,500).
The top-tier variant has 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and is priced at CNY 2,799 (around Rs 33,000).
Display
It gets a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,450 nits peak brightness.
Camera
The device has a centrally aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
The setup includes a 16MP front camera and the rear has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera.
Processor
The OnePlus Ace 2V is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, which is coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS3.1 storage.
Battery and charging
The OnePlus Ace 2V houses a 5,000mAh battery, which has support for 80W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
Other highlights
The device gets NFC support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, an under-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
It also gets something called the company’s in-house Game Cloud Computing tech, which is said to solve network-related problems like network lag while playing games.
It runs the latest Android 13-based ColorOS 13 skin out of the box.
India launch?
There is no word on global launch and availability as of yet.
However rumors have it that the same phone may be rebranded as a Nord device for India.
