Government Urges Indians to Avoid Non-Essential Travel

India has issued a fresh travel advisory for its citizens in Iran and Israel as tensions between the two countries continue to escalate. The Ministry of External Affairs, through Indian embassies in Tehran and Tel Aviv, has urged Indian nationals to exercise extreme caution, remain vigilant, and avoid all non-essential travel to the region until further notice.

The advisory comes amid a renewed exchange of hostilities that has raised concerns about a wider conflict in West Asia. Indian authorities are closely monitoring developments and have intensified efforts to ensure the safety of Indian citizens residing in the affected countries.

Indians in Iran Asked to Leave Immediately

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has advised Indian nationals to refrain from traveling to Iran and urged those currently in the country to leave using available transportation options at the earliest opportunity. The embassy reiterated that the evolving security situation could lead to further disruptions and safety risks.

According to official estimates, thousands of Indian citizens, including students and professionals, remain in Iran. Indian authorities are maintaining close contact with the community and providing regular updates through official channels.

Advisory for Indians in Israel

The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv has also issued detailed safety instructions for Indians living in Israel. Citizens have been advised to stay close to designated shelters, familiarize themselves with emergency procedures, and strictly follow instructions issued by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command. Non-essential travel within Israel has also been discouraged.

The embassy has activated emergency communication channels and remains in touch with local authorities to assist Indian nationals if the situation deteriorates further.

Fresh Missile Exchanges Trigger Concerns

The latest advisory follows a new round of missile exchanges between Iran and Israel. Reports indicate that Iran launched missiles toward Israel following Israeli military actions in Beirut, prompting retaliatory strikes on Iranian targets. The developments have heightened fears of broader instability across the Middle East.

India Calls for Restraint

India has expressed serious concern over the escalating conflict and urged all parties to de-escalate tensions and return to dialogue. New Delhi has consistently advocated diplomatic solutions and emphasized the importance of maintaining regional stability.

Summary: India has issued a fresh travel advisory for Iran and Israel, asking citizens to avoid non-essential travel and remain vigilant amid rising regional tensions. Indians in Iran have been urged to leave immediately, while those in Israel have been advised to stay near shelters and follow local safety instructions. The advisory follows renewed missile exchanges that have increased fears of a wider conflict in West Asia.
