Hyundai has launched the i20 facelift in India.
It is offered in five trims: Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O).
The base-spec Era is a new trim on the i20.

Here the i20 gets new LED headlamps, revised DRLs, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels.
It is offered with eight color schemes including Amazon Grey (new), Atlas White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White with black roof, and Fiery Red with black roof.
Interior
There are only minor changes here, such as a new dual-tone black and grey finish for the dashboard and the semi-leatherette seat upholstery on the top-spec trim.
There’s also a new physical knob for the volume control below the touchscreen.
Standard features include touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, Bose-sourced seven-speaker music system, cruise control, auto headlamps, TPMS, automatic climate control, and a wireless charger.
Safety
Features include six airbags, ESC, HAC, VSM, ABS with EBD, burglar alarm, and three-point seatbelts with reminders for all occupants.
It also gets a reverse parking camera, TPMS, and automatic headlamps with escort function.
Powertrain
The new Hyundai i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual and an iMT unit.
It produces 83hp with the MT transmission and 88hp with the CVT, and 115Nm of peak torque.
The carmaker has discontinued the 120hp, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine from the regular i20 which was offered with either a 7-speed DCT or 6-speed iMT transmission.
The upcoming i20 N Line may get the turbo petrol option.
Price
Prices start from Rs. 6.99 lakh for base Era MT variant and go up to Rs. 11.01 lakh for top spec Asta (O) IVT variant (both prices ex-sh).
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Tata Altroz count as competition.
