Apple Falls out of Top 5, Huawei Takes 4th Spot
As per the Canalys, Apple fell out of the list of top five smartphone vendors in China in Q2. The firm confirmed that it was the first time that domestic players held all five spots.
As per the company, Huawei ranked 4th by market share with 10.6 million smartphones shipped. The firm only shared shipments for the top five vendors. Apple, with its 10 million phones shipped in the first quarter, fell out of top 5.
As far as comparison is concerned, like its Chinese competitors, Huawei already sells folding and flip phones, whereas on the other hand, Apple has yet to expand into those categories.
