OnePlus will host an event in China to celebrate the company’s ninth anniversary on December 17 at 2:30 PM local time.
A hint?
Rumors say that it may unveil its upcoming OnePlus 11 phone at this event.
The company has created the tagline ‘New direction, new action, new future’ which might imply that it could showcase the new series.
However, the launch may take place in the first quarter of 2023.
Ditching the Pro
This time the brand is expected to get rid of the ‘pro’ model, instead launching a single model – the OnePlus 11 with top-end features and specs.
The smartphone was recently awarded the 3C certification.
Charging
As per the listing, the device may offer 100 watt fast charging.
It may be equipped with support for 5V/2A and 5-11V/9.1A power output.
This is higher than the OnePlus 10 Pro, but less than the OnePlus 10T.
It is said to come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Processor
It could be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 processor which was launched last month.
It is claimed to be 40 percent more power efficient than the ongoing one.
It’s offered with Snapdragon’s Elite Gaming technology.
With this, the device gets features like a new Adreno GPU that claims up to 25 percent better gaming performance and Kryo CPU with up to 40 percent better power efficiency than the ongoing chipset.
Camera
Coming to the lens, the upcoming phone is said to feature a punch-hole camera cut at the top.
It’s tipped to pack a triple camera setup on the back.
It may offer a 50MP primary rear camera coupled with a 48MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2x 32MP telephoto lens.
OS, battery, color options
Now to the OS, the 11 may run on Android 13 out of the box.
It gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery.
Color variants of Forest Emerald and Volcanic Black have allegedly appeared online, but it is also rumored to come in other color options.
