If you are a creator or an influencer, the government has announced a list of awards you need to look out for!
As confirmed by a press release, The National Creators Award has been launched by MyGov India. It will reportedly celebrate “digital innovators and content creators for their impactful contributions to India’s digital landscape.”
As per the release, “The National Creators Award aims to spotlight the diverse voices and talents that are shaping India’s growth and cultural narrative, driving positive social change, and fostering innovation & creativity in the digital sphere.”
Government Announces Awards For Digital Creators
Here is a list of the awards:
Best Storyteller Award – For creators who promote India’s cultural ethos through story telling.
Disruptor of the Year – for creators for challenge the status quo and introduce changes or innovations in their fields.
Celebrity Creator of the Year – For high-profile creators who use their celebrity status and influence positive changes.
Green Champion Award – for creators who advocate for environmental protection, sustainability, and green living practices.
Best Creator For Social Change – for creators who employ social media platforms to promote social causes, charitable causes, inclusivity, empowerment, and other positive change.
Most Impactful Agri Creator – for creators who educate, critique, and display new farming techniques or equipment that gets launched in the market in order to enhance farming in India.
Cultural Ambassador of The Year – for creators who promote Indian culture through different lifestyle content that is centered around different aspects of Indian culture.
International Creator Award – for creators who stay abroad and help augment India’s culture and soft power.
Best Travel Creator Award – for creators who display India’s tourism potential through travel content.
Swachhta Ambassador Award – for creators who promote cleanliness.
New India Champion Award – for creators who talk about the progress and achievements of India and spread awareness about government policies.
Tech Creator Award – for creators who create content about technology, and offer insights, reviews, and recommendations on the latest gadgets and innovations.
Heritage Fashion Icon Award – for creators who promote local clothing brands while celebrating and preserving India’s sartorial heritage.
