Advanced Security Features

The Chrome Enterprise Premium plan includes advanced security features such as enhanced data loss prevention (DLP), which prevents both accidental and intentional exfiltration of sensitive company data. It also enforces data protection policies through DLP controls and advanced malware and phishing protections. This extra layer of security aims to safeguard businesses from potential cybersecurity threats and breaches.

Additional Benefits

In addition to advanced security measures, the Premium plan offers other features similar to the Chrome Enterprise Core version. These include malware deep scanning, URL filtering based on website categories, and context-aware access for Software as a Service (SaaS), Google Cloud, and private web applications via Chrome. While these features are available in both versions, businesses will need to subscribe to the Premium plan to access the advanced security capabilities.

Accessibility and Availability

The Google Chrome Enterprise Premium plan is now available to all business users worldwide, providing organizations with the option to upgrade their security infrastructure. Despite the introduction of the Premium plan, the Chrome Enterprise Core version remains available to businesses as an unpaid option for those who do not require the additional security features.

Testimonials and Feedback

Nick Reva, Head of Corporate Security Engineering at Snap, expressed confidence in Google’s security expertise, particularly highlighting the role of Project Zero’s cutting-edge security research and fast security patches. Snap implemented DLP restrictions and warnings for sharing sensitive information and observed a significant 50% reduction in content transfers, underscoring the effectiveness of Chrome Enterprise Premium in enhancing security measures for businesses.
