The virtual assistant technology led by Amazon, Amazon Alexa has now become a common name in Indian households, thanks to its wide acceptance and quirky answers.
Among the most asked questions to Alexa in India in 2022 were questions about the Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s personal life, including who is Salman Khan’s girlfriend. Questions about the founder of the microblogging site Twitter as well as the price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin were also among the largely asked questions in the past year.
The height of the world’s tallest building ‘Burj Khalifa’ was also a widely asked general knowledge question asked in 2022, along with questions like the official language of Sri Lanka, the tallest man on earth, the second richest man in the world, and the net worth of Elon Musk.
Some of the questions asked widely in 2022 also included intriguing questions of sci-fi fanatics like “Alexa, do aliens exist?”, while others included pretty rigid financial questions like, “Alexa, what’s the price of Bitcoin?” and “Alexa, what is the gold rate today?”
There were also some questions like “Alexa, why is water wet?”, and then others like “Alexa, who is Rocky Bhai?” and “Alexa, what is Alia Bhatt’s age?”
Indians were a lot interested in famous personalities too last year, as questions like “Alexa, what is Anushka Sharma’s baby’s name?”, “Alexa, how old is Kendall Jenner?”, “Alexa, what is Katrina Kaif’s height?” and “Alexa, who is MrBeast?”, found their way among the top most asked questions.
People also searched for the age of Prince Harry, “how strong is John Cena?”, “Alexa, who is Vijay Deverakonda?”, and “Alexa, tell me about Rashmika Mandanna”.
Indians also turned to ask food recipes to Alexa for various household as well as exquisite international cuisines and dishes. Some questions like “Alexa, मसाला चाय कैसे बनाते है?”, or ““Alexa, एग बिरयानी की रेसेपी बताओ”, and “Alexa, झटपट आलू की सब्ज़ी कैसे बनाए?”, really trended as the most asked questions.
Others included some really unique questions like “Alexa, where is your mouth?”, “Alexa, can you do my homework for me?”, “Alexa, गाय तो हरी घास खाती है फिर दूध सफेद क्यों देती है?”, “Alexa, do you believe in the supernatural?”, and also “Alexa, तुम्हारे कोई पति परमेश्वर हैं?”
