Xiaomi 13 Lite has allegedly been unveiled in a teaser.
It will be the successor to the original Xiaomi 12 Lite from last year.
Borrowing iPhone design
Rumors say that it could be a rebrand of the Xiaomi Civi 2 that debuted in China last year.
The Civi 2 started the trend of Android adopting iPhone 14 Pro‘s Dynamic Island.
However, this is exclusive to China.
Now, rumor has it that Xiaomi could soon introduce the first Android phone with Dynamic Island globally in the form of the Xiaomi 13 Lite.
Design
The handset in question has a curved display, which offers a premium look and yet again there is an iPhone (inspired) 14 Pro-like pill-shaped punch-hole cutout and also there are dual-camera sensors.
There is a rectangular module on the back that houses a circular cutout to accommodate dual camera lenses and another lens outside.
Box contents
Box contents include the phone, a USB cable, a charging adapter, booklets, and a back case.
There is 67W fast charging support and the adapter will come with the box.
Display
Xiaomi 13 Lite sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit panel, 1920 PWM, 1000 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, and dual punch-hole cutouts.
Another USP is that the handset will be one of the first to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 SoC and have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Camera, battery
The Xiaomi 13 Lite is said to ship with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 20MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The front side gets a 32MP primary and a 32MP wide-angle sensor for selfies and video chats.
Finally, the device is tipped to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Possible launch
As for the launch, this could possibly happen alongside the global and India launch of the Xiaomi 13 Pro scheduled for February 26.
