An electric motorbike in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, caused a fire that claimed the life of an 11-year-old girl called Antra Choudhary and injured two more.
The event happened in a colony within the boundaries of the Industrial Area police station on Sunday at around 2:30 am.

When the electric motorcycle caught fire while being charged outside Bhagwat Maurya’s residence, it spread the flames to another car.
After charging the motorbike, the family went to bed, only to wake up to the smell of smoke filling the house.
The family alerted the fire department as soon as they noticed the fire and was able to leave the house.
The granddaughter of Bhagwat Maurya, Antra Choudhary, was suffocated to death after being abandoned in the house.
Two more people, Bhagwat Maurya and Lavanya (12), were hurt and are being treated right now. According to VD Joshi, the in-charge of the Industrial Area police station, the fire originated from the electric motorcycle.
Antra was due back in Vadodara, Gujarat, on Sunday morning after travelling with her mother to her grandfather’s home.
The event is being investigated by the police, who have filed a case.
