The iQOO Z7 will be launched on March 21 in India at 12 noon on Amazon India.

Confirmed! iQOO Z7 Is Launching In India On This Date: Can Be Priced Under Rs 20,000

People will be able to watch the livestream on iQOO’s YouTube channel.

It follows the launch of the iQOO 11 5G and iQOO Neo 7 5G.

iQOO India’s CEO Mr. Nipun Marya talked about the product and also divulged a few specs of the upcoming Z-series smartphone.

Pricing

He said the mid-range smartphone is “exclusively designed for the Indian market” and will be launched at a price below Rs 20,000.

This will make it a direct competitor to the Poco X5 5G, which is set to make its Indian debut next week.

Display

The upcoming smartphone will flaunt an ultra-bright AMOLED display along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Other reports have suggested that the smartphone has a 6.5-inch FHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP selfie camera.

Camera

The selfie camera will be located in a water drop notch at the top of the phone, according to an earlier teaser.

The device is also claimed to be India’s first 64MP optical image stabilisation (OIS) camera setup in the segment.

Volume keys and power buttons are located on the right side of the chassis.

Processor

It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC 5G.

iQOO said that the 8GB + 128GB model of the phone has scored 4.85 lakhs on AnTuTu, much higher than the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 in the Z6 Lite and the 695 in the Z6.

This makes it the fastest processor in the segment compared to other phones launched on Amazon in 2023.

The chipset will likely be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

Flash charging

Further, the device will offer the 44W flash charge technology thanks to which the device’s 5,000 mAh battery will charge the phone from 1 per cent to 50 per cent in just around 25 minutes.

The iQOO Z7 5G will also run Android 13 out of the box with the latest Funtouch OS 13 on top.

It will come in blue and black colors.

And that’s all we know so far.
