OpenAI’s AI-powered standalone ChatGPT app for iOS users has now made its way to smartphones.

The San Francisco-based company has announced its ChatGPT app for iOS and it is free to download and use.

It makes it easier to chat with the bot on the go and incorporates a couple of neat features too.

The iOS app comes with an in-built voice input feature powered by the company’s open-source speech recognition model Whisper.

Synchronisation

It also synchronizes your chat history from the web version of ChatGPT and other devices with your account logged in.

The company claims that the app syncs user history across devices and comes with the latest OpenAI model improvements.

As of now, iOS users can download the app from the App Store in the US, but other countries should get it soon too. The same goes for Android users.

ChatGPT Plus users will get exclusive access to GPT-4’s capabilities, early access to features and faster response times on their iOS devices
