Apple’s prices have always been sky-high, but the company is now looking to introduce cheaper AirPods to fight competition.
These new low priced AirPods will reportedly be called AirPods Lite.

Apple Developing Low Cost AirPods, “AirPods Lite”
There are currently four different AirPods models available from Apple, from the newest AirPods Max to the second-generation AirPods. However, despite their popularity, these devices are not inexpensive, something that cannot be disputed.
Apple is developing new, more affordable AirPods to compete with less expensive wireless earbuds. In order to compete with less expensive wireless earbuds on the market, the tech giant is reportedly working on an “AirPods Lite” version.
Analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong International Securities predicts a decline in AirPod demand by 2023. Furthermore, he claims that it is anticipated that shipments of AirPods will decline from 73 million units in 2022 to 63 million in 2023.
The demand for “soft AirPods 3” and the potential that Apple won’t release any new AirPods this year are likely the two main causes of this.
Pu describes the AirPods Lite as a low-cost earphone that will compete with the less expensive wireless earbuds on the market, even though nothing official has been announced yet and little is known about the product.
The Lite models should cost less than $100. This might make it affordable for everyone, even those who can’t afford AirPods. It may cost less than Rs 10,000 in India, which is significantly less than the current cost of the third-generation AirPods. Apple currently charges Rs 19,900 for third-generation AirPods.
AirPods Pro Model Launched With Two Times Active Noise Cancellation
In September of last year, the Cupertino giant introduced the second AirPods Pro model. The updated version boasts some audio quality improvements while keeping the same design as the original AirPods Pro. It has an updated H2 chip that provides two times as much active noise cancellation.
The Adaptive Transparency reduces intrusive outside noise. It includes Personalized Spatial Audio, which provides a dynamic head tracking and optimised, immersive surround sound experience. The new charging case for the AirPods features an U1 chip for pinpoint positioning. It is offered in India for Rs 26,900.
