Shortcut For AI Image Generation In Whatsapp Chats Coming Soon: Imagine By Meta

It has been reported that WhatsApp is testing the ‘Imagine’ shortcut, which will enable users to generate AI-powered graphics.

The instant messaging service has been testing AI-generated stickers and profile images for a while.

WhatsApp Testing “Imagine” Feature

In select areas in 2023, Meta launched a chatbot known as Meta AI in its apps, which included WhatsApp.

Meta AI has given people the ability to create images and make conversations.

According to WABetaInfo, a shortcut to the picture creation feature of the instant messaging service was found in the beta version of WhatsApp (2.24.12.4 for Android). With this function, users of MetaAI may easily create artificial intelligence-based images within the app.

It has been reported that WhatsApp is testing the ‘Imagine’ shortcut, which will enable users to generate AI-powered graphics. This alleged capability might enable fast image generation for frequent AI image communicators.

The connected options now include a new shortcut named Imagine that makes it possible to use the AI meta-image generating feature. 

WhatsApp Beta Version To Come With Imagine Shortcut

There are rumors that the WhatsApp beta version comes with the Imagine shortcut. According to the source, customers who already have Meta AI may be the only ones able to access this feature.

Currently, the US, Australia, Canada, and South Africa are the nations where the Meta AI chatbot is accessible.

Meta is testing a WhatsApp chatbot in India. The ability to quickly create images using shortcuts is currently in development and is not yet accessible to WhatsApp beta testers on Android.

A broader audience is anticipated to be introduced to the feature in the future. According to reports, Meta is also testing a feature that would let users to build AI profile photos. On a new page called “Create AI profile picture,” users will be required to provide a description of the picture they wish to produce.

The report will build a personalized photo based on the given description. The 2.24.11.17 version of the WhatsApp app for Android was found to have the AI profile image functionality.
