Maruti Suzuki’s Vehicle Subscription Program
Maruti Suzuki has started a vehicle subscription program called ‘Maruti Suzuki Subscribe’.
Under this, a customer can use a Maruti Suzuki car model by just paying an all-inclusive monthly fee, which covers total maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance.
Currently, this programme has been launched only for customers in Delhi, NCR (Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram) and Bengaluru.
India’s biggest automaker Maruti Suzuki has teamed up with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services India, which is a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation in Japan, to make this subscription feat live.
Which Cars can you Choose and Monthly Charges
Currently launched only for the aforementioned cities/regions, the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe programme allows you to subscribe to the following car models.
You can choose to subscribe these models from Maruti Suzuki ARENA:
- Swift
- Dzire
- Vitara Brezza, and
- Ertiga
While you can choose these new car models from Maruti NEXA:
- Baleno
- Ciaz, and
- XL6.
You can select these cars for a period of 12-48 months, as per your choice and requirement.
The monthly subscription charge rate starts from Rs 14,463 (including taxes), for Swift Lxi in Delhi, for a period of 48 months.
Once the tenure of subscription is over, you can choose to upgrade the vehicle, extend your subscription or buy this car at the market price.
What will the Subscription Price Include?
The subscription amount covers all expenses like complete car maintenance, insurance, 24*7 roadside support and no resale risk.
This all-inclusive subscription service comes with the feature of zero-down payment.
According to Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director Maruti Suzuki India Limited,
“The vehicle subscription market is new to India and as such offers a huge untapped potential. Globally, penetration of such leasing programme varies between 5% and 30%.
The comprehensive Maruti Suzuki Subscribe initiative offers customers the multiple advantages and peace of mind from botheration of maintenance costs and insurance renewal.”
The automaker has stated that they plan to offer this subscription program in 40-60 cities in the next 2-3 years.
