Vivo is set to unveil a new affordable version of the Vivo V17 Pro in India on December 9. Unlike the Pro model, Vivo V17 will come with a punch-hole display design and not with a pop-up sensor.
The official poster by Vivo also confirms a rear quad camera setup on Vivo V17 shaped like an L.
Vivo has already unveiled Vivo V17 in Russia, but the Indian variant will be different with some changes. The Vivo V17 India variant has an L-shaped rear camera module along with a punch-hole on the display.

Unlike the Vivo V17 launched in Russia, the Indian Vivo V17 will have some changes both on the outside and inside. The V17 Indian variant will not come with a water-drop notch as the European Vivo V17. In India, Vivo V17 will feature a punch-hole display notch-less design.
Also, the Vivo V17 Indian variant will have a slightly larger display compared to the original V17. But it’s due to the punch-hole cutout, and not a bigger screen.
Vivo V17 in India will come with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ OLED display. Vivo calls it an iView Display. V17 will offer a whopping 91.38 percent screen-to-body ratio with minimal bezels and a slight chin down under.
Being an OLED display, Vivo will use it to put in an in-display fingerprint sensor, making it an attractive option in the budget. As Vivo V17 Pro, the standard Vivo V17 will also be powered by the Snapdragon 675.
Some reports also suggest Snapdragon 665, so we need further details to be sure about the Vivo V17 processor. The device will come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Coming to optics, the Vivo V17 Indian version will come with an L-shaped rear-quad camera, and not in the shape of a diamond (like Vivo S5) as the one launched in Russia. The official Vivo V17 India launch poster also confirms Super Night Camera feature.
The quad-rear camera setup on Vivo V17 will comprise of a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors as depth and macro shooters.
Up front, the upcoming Vivo phone will feature a single 32-megapixel sensor. Finally, Vivo V17 will have a sizeable 4,500mAh battery backing it with 18W fast charging support. In India, the smartphone will ship with the 18W fast charging supported adapter in the box.
Vivo V17 India Launch, Vivo V17 Price In India
The official poster released by Vivo confirms the Vivo V17 India launch date on December 9. The company has already unveiled Vivo V17 Pro in India, and now Vivo V17 will be a new addition to the V17 series by Vivo in the country.
Vivo V17 price in India is around Rs 20,000, or probably lower. Given the competition, the Vivo V17 India price may start at Rs 19,999.
If launched for offline markets as well, which is likely, the price will see a jump, and Vivo V17 India price may start at around 22,000 rupees. Vivo V17 in India will be available in two colour options: Glacier Ice and Midnight Ocean.
