Today, Honor has taken the wraps off two new devices: Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. The launch event happened in China, and are the successors to the Honor 8X smartphone.
The sub-brand of Huawei has bounced back from the many controversies and launched the two phones that fall in the premium mid-range category.
Some features of the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro devices have been leaked in the recent past, revealing that the phones will have a notchless display and a pop-up camera.

Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro: Specifications and Features
The Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro devices feature a HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor, which is the only processor available in the premium mid-range that is based on a 7nm process. There is a 4000 mAh battery, with USB Type-C charging facility, but it does not support fast charging.
The processor on the Honor 9X Pro comes with an additional liquid cooling, which is probably one of the very few differences between the two phones.
Another difference is the camera of the phones; the Honor 9X comes with a rear camera of 48 MP + 2 MP (depth) sensor and a selfie camera of 16 MP. whereas, the Honor 9X Pro comes with a 48 MP + 8 MP (wide-angle) + 2MP (depth) sensors, and a selfie camera of 16 MP.
Both the phones flaunt a 6.59-inch display, with a screen to body ratio of 19.5:9, and a resolution of 2340 x 1080p. The Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro come with Android 9.0 Pie
Honor 9X and Honor 9X: Variants and Prices
The Honor 9X phone’s 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant will come priced at about CNY 1,399, which is approximately Rs. 14,000, the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant will come for CNY 1,599, which is about Rs. 16,000, whereas the top variant of the phone, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM will cost CNY 1,899, almost Rs. 19,000.
The Honor 9X has two variants only, of which the 8 GB RAM + 128GB ROM comes for about CNY 2,199, which is almost Rs. 22,000, and the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM is priced CNY 2,399, almost at Rs. 24,000.
