Yesterday, as per the corporate policy, HCL Tech has made it mandatory for its employees to work from office for 3 days a week, failing which disciplinary action can be taken.

Infosys has directed its employees to work three days every week since the company believes that doing so promotes greater interpersonal and teamwork.

In 2023, Wipro also mandated its employees to be present in the office for a minimum of three days per week. Wipro too had warned of disciplinary action in case of incompliance with the decree.

Meta has a similar policy and while enforcing it has gone to the level of layoffs if the employees do not return to work. Notably, Meta was among the first set of companies that asked employees to come to office.
