Honda Sensing ADAS

“Honda Sensing” is a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) developed by Honda, a Japanese automotive manufacturer. ADAS refers to a range of technologies designed to assist drivers and enhance vehicle safety by providing features that automate and enhance vehicle systems.

Honda Sensing incorporates various sensors, cameras, and radar systems to detect and monitor the vehicle’s surroundings and assist the driver in avoiding collisions and potential hazards. The system includes features such as Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) which helps prevent or reduce the severity of frontal collisions by automatically applying the brakes if an imminent collision is detected. It includes Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) that uses cameras to monitor lane markings and helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane by providing steering assistance. It also includes feature of cruise control named as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) which set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead by automatically adjusting the vehicle’s speed, accelerating, and decelerating as necessary. It also includes Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM) and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).

These features are designed to assist the driver and enhance safety on the road by providing warnings, alerts, and automated interventions when necessary. Honda Sensing/ADAS is available on various Honda models and continues to evolve with newer technologies and advancements in automotive safety systems.

Lanewatch camera

LaneWatch is a feature in some Honda vehicles that uses a camera to provide a live video feed of the passenger-side blind spot. It helps drivers see the adjacent lane and avoid collisions when changing lanes or making turns.

The LaneWatch camera system provides additional visibility and situational awareness, particularly in situations where the driver’s view may be obstructed or limited, such as during lane changes or merging on highways. It enhances safety by reducing the potential blind spots on the passenger side and helps drivers make more informed decisions when changing lanes.

Boot space in cars refers to the storage area or trunk at the rear of the vehicle where you can stow luggage, groceries, and other items. It is an essential feature for carrying belongings during travels and everyday transportation needs.

The importance of boot space lies in its ability to provide practical storage for various purposes. Some of the reasons why the boot space is important include: Luggage and Storage, Travel and vacations, grocery shopping, flexibility and transportation of equipment

Ground clearance of 220 mm

Ground clearance in cars refers to the vertical distance between the lowest point of the vehicle’s undercarriage and the ground. It is an important specification that determines how high the vehicle sits off the ground.

Ground clearance is an important factor to consider when choosing a car, especially if you anticipate driving on uneven roads, off-road terrains, or facing challenging conditions. It determines the vehicle’s capability to handle various road conditions safely and comfortably.

Space

Space is important in cars as it contributes to passenger comfort, storage capacity, cargo versatility, and overall convenience. It ensures that passengers and their belongings can be accommodated adequately, creating a pleasant and functional driving experience.
