With growing infrastructure, increased affordability and accessibility, increased fuel prices, EV has gained lot of acceptance in the buyers.

One thing which still bothers them all, is the notorious “range anxiety”.

We have prepared a list of EVs in the Indian market which have substantial range for a single charge and also claim to be one of the highest range EVs in India.

Notably, the list of below cars have been done on the basis of WLTP cycle and hence it contains lot of premium EV cars.

10. Kia EV6

Priced between Rs 60.95 lakh-65.95 lakh and with a range of 528 kms on a single charge, the tenth one of our list is Kia’s flagship EV. Plonked with a 77.4kWh battery pack, it is available in a single-motor, rear- wheel-drive (RWD) guise making 229hp and 350Nm of torque, and in a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive  (AWD) guise making 325hp and 605Nm.

9. Rolls Royce Spectre 

Priced at Rs 7.5 crore and with a range of 530 kms on a single charge, Rolls-Royce’s first-ever EV, Spectre, is the most expensive passenger electric vehicle on sale in India.

Packed with a 102kWh battery pack, the battery can be charged from 10-80 percent in just 34 minutes using a 195kW charger. With a twin-motor setup, it has a total power output of 585hp and 900Nm, allowing the sprint from 0-100kph possible in mere 4.5 seconds.

8. Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV – 550km

Priced at Rs 1.39 crore and with a range of 550 kms on single charge, this 90.56kWh battery pack car comes with a dual-motor setup that generates 408hp and 858Nm, facilitating the acceleration from 0-100kph in just 4.9 seconds.

7. BYD Seal

Priced between Rs 41 lakh-53 lakh, the car runs 570 kms on single charge. There are multiple powertrain and battery pack options with this beautiful beast.

6. Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ 

Priced at Rs 2.45 crore and with a range of 586 kms on a single charge, this powerful piece has a dual-electric motor setup that puts out 761hp in Race Start mode. Notably, once the boost function is activated, the car generates a maximum torque produced stands at 1020Nm. With a top speed of 250 kmph, the car can go from 0-100 kmph in mere 3.4 seconds.

5. BMW i4

With a range of 590km on single charge, this beauty is priced between Rs 73.90 lakh-77.50 lakh. Its motor produces 340hp and 430Nm, drawing power from an 83.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack that allows for a WLTP range of 590km.

4. Porsche Macan Turbo

Priced at 1.65 crores and a range of 591km on a single charge, next in the ranks in the Macan Turbo by Porsche, which is built on the brand’s new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform. Powered by two electric motors that produce a total of 639hp. Notably, the same reaches up to 1,130Nm for short periods of over boost. The EV reaches 0-100kph in 3.3sec and has the top speed of 260 kmph.

3. Lotus Eletre  & Audi Q8 e-tron sportback – 600km WLTP

The third best spot is occupied by two beasts from Lotus & Audi, one being Lotus Eletre price which is priced between Rs 2.55 crore-2.99 crore and another being the Audi Q8 e-tron price which is priced between Rs 1.14 crore-1.30 crore.

With a 603hp dual-motor system, Lotus Eletre and Eletre S sprints to 100 kmph in a matter of 4.5 seconds. Packed with a 112kWh battery, it is claimed to give 600 kms range.

On the other hand, Audi Q8 e-tron has a 114kWh battery and two electric motors that produce 340hp and 408hp in the 50 and 55 variants, respectively.

2. BMW i7 

With a range of 625km, the Rs 1.95 crore EV by BMW, the car has a 101.7kWh lithium-ion battery that has a range between 591km-625km on the WLTP cycle.

Alongwith its ICE sibling, the car has everything it takes to be the best of the best.

1. Mercedes-Benz EQS 

Clinching the top spot with a range of 677 kms on a single charge, is Mercedes-Benz EQS. Priced between Rs 1.55 crore-2.45 crore, the car is powered by a 107.8kWh battery with a dual motor set-up that produces 523hp and 855Nm.
