Surge, an electric mobility firm owned by Hero MotoCorp, has unveiled the radically shape-shifting S32 EV. Drawing inspiration from Batman’s iconic ride, this vehicle seamlessly transitions between a three-wheeled goods rickshaw and a performance scooter in just three minutes.
Owners can interchangeably switch between rickshaw and scooter modes to best suit different needs via a simple button push. The innovative S32 aims at versatile last-mile mobility.
Efficient Cabin Design With Smart Features
As an e-rickshaw, the S32 offers a thoughtfully-designed cabin with various functionalities like a windshield, doors, LED lighting, digital speedo and switchgear for comfortable rides. The goods loading space can carry 500kg enabling effective small-scale logistics operations.
In scooter form, it promises a 60 kmph top speed by harnessing 4 bhp power. The rickshaw mode generates 13.4 bhp allowing for 50 kmph top speeds even with heavier loads. Respective battery capacities stand at 3.5 kWh and 11 kWh.
