This Is Why 94% Indian Techies Are Using AI In Their Work (Salesforce Research)

According to a recent survey, 94% of Indian service workers who use artificial intelligence (AI) recognize the advantages of it in terms of time savings.

Additionally, leading enterprise software provider Salesforce revealed that 89% of service professionals in AI-enabled businesses agree that AI lowers costs.

Artificial Intelligence Benefits – Higher Productivity, Lower Costs, And More

The obvious benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) were emphasized by Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, MD of Sales at Salesforce India. These benefits included higher productivity, lower costs, and better customer experiences.

Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, MD – Sales, Salesforce India stated, “As customer expectations continue to increase, the benefits of AI are clear — increased productivity, cost reduction and improved customer experiences.”

Parmeswaran underlined how important AI and data are to improving customer experience and opening up chances to make money.

“AI and Data are fueling the next level of customer experience, with AI proving its value with a variety of use cases, delivering unmatched value to customers while unlocking revenue-generating opportunities.”

The report featured opinions from 300 professionals in India and polled over 5,500 service professionals in 30 other countries.

93% Indian Service Companies Plan To Increase AI Spending This Year

It was found that 93% of Indian service companies intend to increase their AI spending this year.

Creating knowledge articles, intelligent offers and recommendations, and automated summaries and reports are the top three AI use cases in Indian service firms.

Furthermore, the report revealed that 79% of Indian firms expect their service divisions to generate more money this year.

Approximately 85% of respondents anticipate that service operations will receive more funding this year.

In a similar vein, almost 80% of companies plan to add more employees to their service teams in 2019.
