The owner and founder of contraceptive maker Famy Care, JP Taparia is in the news over the purchase of India’s costliest apartment worth whopping Rs 369 crores.
The property bought by the industrialist JP Taparia has a sea-view luxury triplex apartment in South Mumbai’s Malabar Hill.
India’s Costliest Apartment Owned by JP Taparia of Famy Care
The apartment pans across the 26th, 27th and 28th floor of the luxury residential tower Lodha Malabar in posh Walkeshwar Road area, opposite the governor’s estate. The prime area of the maximum city touches both the Arabian Sea and the Hanging Gardens.
What makes it the country’s most expensive residential flats is its 27,160 square feet spread with a cost per sq ft was Rs 1.36 lakh.
Prior to this the India’s most expensive apartment deal ever was Madhav Goel of Tufropes purchasing a 9,546 sq ft apartment in the sea-facing Lodha Malabar project in Malabar Hill for Rs 121 crore. The flat is on the 19th floor and was purchased from Macrotech Developers Ltd.
