Global Recognition Of boAT
Reflecting on boAT’s journey since its inception in 2016, Gupta emphasized the initial skepticism towards Indian startups. However, through perseverance and leveraging government initiatives like ‘Startup India’, boAT has emerged as the world’s second-largest audio brand. Gupta expressed a vision of exporting Indian tech products globally, akin to the popularity of Big Tech brands within the country.
Gupta revealed that 70% of boAT’s products are now manufactured in India, a testament to the brand’s commitment to domestic production. With India’s true wearable stereo (TWS) shipments witnessing a 34% YoY growth in 2023, boAT led the market with a remarkable 39% YoY growth. This achievement underscores boAT’s dominance in the industry, fueled by affordable new launches and a focus on domestic manufacturing.
