A new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Experience Zone and Design Studio has been unveiled by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in London as part of its latest expansion drive in the United Kingdom.

Coupled with fresh investments, this initiative is believed by the company to generate 5000 new jobs across the UK over the period of 3 years.
As per a regulatory filing, TCS is currently providing over 42,000 direct and indirect roles in the country and contributing £3.3 billion to the UK economy in FY24.
The new AI and design facilities, modelled on the firm’s flagship PacePort innovation hubs, are expected to strengthen its focus on client collaboration, digital solutions, and next-generation technology development.
TCS Head for UK and Ireland, Vinay Sanghvi said that UK remains to be the company’s second-largest global market and will continue to play a strategic role in its long-term growth plans. He said that “Our London design studio will serve as a co-creation space for clients, leveraging AI and design thinking to accelerate innovation”.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s India Visit Focuses on Trade, Investment, and TCS’s Role
This launch was followed by first India visit of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer this week, during which he met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in order to discuss trade as well as investment opportunities.
The UK PM highlighted India’s projected rise to the world’s 3rd largest economy by 2028 and said that UK aims to be key and active member in India’s journey. The visit comes shortly after 2 nations finalized a landmark free trade agreement that is expected to double bilateral trade by 2030.

As we mark this milestone visit, we have reaffirmed our commitment to maximising the benefits of the trade pact signed in July. Companies like TCS are vital to this mission, helping create jobs and drive economic growth across both nations”.
