Tata Motors Sold 1566 Cars Every Day In Last 30 Days! 47,000 Cars Sold In April (These Cars In High Demand)

As per the sales report for April 2023, Tata Motors has seen total PV sales of 47,007 units in April 2023, which is a decent 13.03 percent YoY growth.

It is in the very first month of the financial year that the company witnessed the growth in passenger vehicles (inclusive of electric vehicles).

When the same number is compared with the last year’s April sales of 41,587 units, then this year the number has increased by 13.03 percent. 

As compared to previous months’ sales of 44,044 units, the MoM growth has been 6.73%.

This is the domestic sales. Speaking of the exports, then the same stood at 100 units, which is a 133 percent YoY increase from 43 units shipped in April 2022.

Arpil 2023 Sales – Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle 

Total passenger vehicles sales in April 2023 stood at 47,107 units. Considering only the electric vehicles into account, domestic sales + exports increased 179 percent from 2,333 units sold in April 2022 to 6,516 units in the past month.

Priced at Rs 19.04 lakh (ex-showroom), the month of April 2023 witnessed the launch of Nexon EV Max Dark in April 2023.

Now the company is working on the launch of 2023 Tata Nexon facelift. This highly favoured sub-4-meter compact SUV is set to receive a facelift in the coming months and will continue to take on the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet in terms of competition in its segment.

With the upcoming launch in some days, the bookings for the Altroz CNG are open. It shall be by the mid-month that the deliveries shall start. Other upcoming launches from Tata Motors include Punch CNG, Harrier facelift, Safari facelift, etc.

April 2023 Sales – Tata Commercial Vehicle 

When it comes to the commercial vehicles and its sales, then the numbers have been negative as the sales has witnessed de-growth.

For the HCV trucks, sales dipped 6 percent YoY from 7,425 units sold in April 2022 to 6,984 units in April 2023.

For the ILMCV trucks, sales dipped by 62% YoY from 5,607 units sold in April 2022 to 2,148 units in April 2023.

The sales of passenger carriers fell by 4 percent to 2,061 units in the past month from 2,137 units sold in the same month last year.

Sales were also red for the SCV cargo and pick-up in April 2023 down 30 percent YoY to 10,314 units, from 14,711 units sold in April 2022. 

The total CV domestic sales took a beating and dropped by 28%, from 29,800 units sold in April last year to 21,507 units in April 2023.

However, the silver lining lies in the exports of the commercial vehicles which increased by 3%.

Sales units this month April are 985, as compared to last year April’s 958. 

Total commercial vehicle sales stood at 22,492 units in April 2023, down 27 percent from 30,838 units sold in April 2022.
