This year, the Mumbai headquartered automobile company, Tata Motors has already launched the all-new, heavily-updated Nexon compact SUV.

Now, Tata Motors is gearing up to introduce heavily-updated versions of its flagship SUVs, the Harrier and Safari.

Tata Harrier, Safari Facelift 2023 Variant Teased By Tata Motors! (Check Major Highlights)

Considering the upcoming festive season, the Indian automaker has teased the facelifted Harrier and Safari on its social media platforms.

Further, announcing that bookings for both SUVs will commence from October 6th, perfect timing, just ahead of a possible launch before the start of the festive season.

What To Expect In Facelifted Harrier?

Tata Motors seems to have released a brief teaser of the  new Tata Harrier, revealing the silhouette of the updated SUV’s front profile.

From the teaser, we can deduce that the new Harrier will feature a connected LED bar between the daytime running LEDs on the corners, all working in harmony to create a signature welcome display.

Besides this, the teaser also hints at revised vertical housings for the LED projector headlamps.

Already this updated Tata Harrier has been spotted numerous times in the middle of its testing in recent months.

This further hints about sleeker LED tail lamps with a connecting LED bar between them.

It is expected that the side profile will remain largely unchanged but the new Harrier is set to receive a fresh design for its 18-inch alloy wheels.

When it comes to interiors, the cabin layout will be revamped, with expectations of a new-generation full-TFT instrument console and the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the recently launched Nexon facelift.

Safari Facelift Features And Specifications

Tata Motors released a clearer teaser of the facelifted Safari’s front profile, providing a better view of its appearance.

If we compare it with the outgoing version, the new Tata Safari boasts a larger front grille, a new LED connecting light bar between the daytime running LEDs, and new vertical housings for the headlamps, featuring LED projectors.

Not only that this time, the Safari is expected to have a slightly different appearance from the Harrier.

Which will be in contrast to the current versions of the two SUVs, which share a very similar front design.

The rear profile will also expect a change to feature refreshed LED tail lamps with a sleek connecting LED light bar.

It will be offered with an updated cabin layout with new-generation screens and is expected to be shared with the Harrier.

However,  the Safari will offer different upholstery options and both six and seven-seater configurations, unlike the five-seater Harrier.

For the powertrain, the heavily updated versions of both the Harrier and Safari will retain the currently available 2.0-litre diesel engine as it was updated earlier this year to comply with BS-6 stage-II emission norms.

Besides this, there are rumors that Tata Motors may offer a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which was showcased by Tata Motors at the 2023 Auto Expo.
