For the iSheeps as well as non iSheeps, there is a news that could be of potential interest!

For those who could not buy the phone due to budget constraints, the India iStore is now offering the iPhone 13 at an effective price of Rs 35,900. Notably, this is not a region specific deal since it shall be available across all the country’s Apple-authorized retail stores via online and offline channels.

Should You Buy iPhone 13 At Rs 35,900?

How to Score an iPhone 13 for Rs 35,900 with Smartphone Trade-In Deals?

The base variant of the iPhone 13(128GB storage) is now selling for Rs 59,600. Customers can avail an instant store discount of Rs 4,700 and a cashback of Rs 1,000, bringing the effective price of the iPhone 13 comes down to Rs 53,900.

But that is still higher that the effective price of Rs 35,900 and one could ask how can be possible?

The devil lies in the old smartphone exchange, which would bring down the cost. Most stores currently are giving Rs 13,000 value for a 64 GB iPhone 11 that’s in good condition plus an additional exchange bonus of Rs 5,000, which in turn does the magic and further brings down the effective price of the iPhone 13 to Rs 35,900.

Kindly note that the exchange value depends on both, the phone model as well as its condition.

  • If you are exchanging any other smartphone valued between Rs 3,000 and Rs 10,000, there shall be an additional bonus of Rs 3000 by the participating stores
  • If the exchange value of the smartphone is between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000, stores will offer an additional Rs 5,000 discount.
  • If in case you exchange a smartphone valued over Rs 15,000, participating stores will offer an additional Rs 8,000 discount on the iPhone 13.

Is the iPhone 13 Worth Buying in 2024? Weighing the Pros and Cons

Now, one more prudent question, just because there’s a deal, should we need to act upon it? Or in nutshell, should one buy an iPhone 13 in 2024?

With iPhone 16 slated to release in this September and iPhone 15 & 14 already there, iPhone 13 is still a solid smartphone in 2024 for anyone looking for a device to make calls, use social media apps, take pictures, and to play games.

When juxtaposed with iPhone 14, it is as good as the latter when it comes to design and capabilities. However, when it is compared to the latest iPhone 15, it can seem outdated, as it misses out on the latest features like USB-C charging, Dynamic Island, 48 MP camera, and more.

But the silver lining, is the price difference between the two, and the offer available on the iPhone 13, if one can get it for less than Rs 40,000, it’s definitely a great pick, given it will receive at least three more major iOS updates.
