Renault has officially unveiled the new-generation Duster 2025, reintroducing the popular SUV with a completely fresh design, modern features, and multiple engine choices.

The Duster, once a trendsetter in the mid-size SUV segment, is making a comeback to take on rivals such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara.

The updated design looks tougher and more premium than before, featuring a bold front with Y-shaped LED DRLs, a wider chrome-accented grille, muscular bonnet lines, and dual-tone alloy wheels.
Elements like squared wheel arches, roof rails, and thick body cladding enhance its rugged SUV presence.
At the rear, the Duster gets Y-shaped LED tail lamps and a sculpted bumper for a sportier look.
Inside, the 2025 Duster has a completely redesigned cabin offering more comfort and space.
Key features include a floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and premium upholstery.
Higher trims are expected to provide a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and Renault’s connected car technology.
Safety kit includes up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, and in select variants, ADAS features such as lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, and automatic emergency braking.
Globally, the SUV is offered with multiple engine options:
- A 1.2-litre turbo petrol with mild-hybrid tech producing about 128 PS.
- A 1.6-litre strong hybrid petrol delivering around 140 PS with better efficiency.
In some markets, a 1.0-litre petrol + LPG bi-fuel option.
For India, Renault is expected to launch petrol and hybrid versions, while diesel is unlikely to return.
Both manual and automatic transmissions will be available, with all-wheel drive (AWD) likely reserved for higher trims.
Renault Duster 2025 Expected to Launch at ₹10 Lakh, Hybrid Trims to Cross ₹17 Lakh
Pricing is expected to begin around ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model, with top hybrid trims priced above ₹16–17 lakh.
The new Duster will compete directly with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, VW Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
