Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), through Reliance Intelligence Limited, has announced a landmark partnership with Google to advance the “AI for All” vision. The collaboration seeks to democratize access to Artificial Intelligence across India, empowering citizens, startups, and enterprises through intelligent tools and platforms.

Reliance Joins Forces With Google To Offer Free Google AI Pro For All Jio Users

By merging Reliance’s unmatched scale and digital ecosystem with Google’s cutting-edge AI technology, both companies aim to make India not just AI-enabled, but AI-empowered.

Free Access to Google’s AI Pro Plan for Jio Users

As part of this partnership, Google will roll out its premium AI Pro plan, featuring the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, to eligible Jio users for free for 18 months—a benefit valued at ₹35,100.

The plan includes:

  • Access to Gemini’s most advanced model for text, image, and video generation.
  • Expanded creative capabilities with Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models.
  • Enhanced tools for research and learning via Notebook LM.
  • 2 TB cloud storage for seamless productivity.

The rollout will begin with Jio users aged 18–25 on unlimited 5G plans, later expanding to all Jio customers nationwide.

Empowering India’s Youth and Developers

Mukesh Ambani emphasized Reliance’s mission to make AI accessible to 1.45 billion Indians, enabling them to create, innovate, and grow. This partnership underscores Jio’s continued focus on empowering young users and small businesses with cutting-edge digital tools.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, highlighted how this partnership marks the next phase of Google and Reliance’s collaboration — bringing AI capabilities to millions, following their earlier success in democratizing internet access and affordable smartphones.

Boosting AI Adoption in Indian Enterprises

Beyond consumer access, the partnership positions Reliance Intelligence as a strategic go-to-market partner for Google Cloud, promoting Gemini Enterprise — a unified AI platform that allows businesses to create, share, and deploy AI agents securely.

Reliance Intelligence will also develop its own pre-built enterprise AI agents, enriching the ecosystem with more local, industry-specific solutions.

This partnership signals a transformative step toward making India a global AI powerhouse.
