As many as 50 cities will now be getting Reliance Jio’s True 5G services, as announced by the company in an exchange filing.
According to a company filing with the stock exchange, Reliance Jio today announced the largest-ever rollout of its True 5G services across 50 cities.
Jio Launches 5G Services in 50 More Cities
Jio users in 184 cities can now use Jio True 5G services thanks to this launch.
In most of these cities, Reliance Jio has become the first and only operator to introduce 5G services.
The Jio Welcome Offer, which offers Unlimited Data at speeds of up to 1 Gbps+ at no additional cost, will be available to Jio users in these cities starting today, the company announced.
As of now, 17 states in total now have access to Jio True 5G – Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
On this occasion, a Jio spokesperson stated, “We have stepped up the speed and intensity of True 5G rollout across the nation because we want every Jio user to enjoy the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G technology in the new year 2023.”
He also said that this is one of the largest rollouts of 5G services, not only in India but anywhere in the world.
