As we all know Redmi Note has gained tremendous popularity in the country being one of the most popular smartphone series.

Redmi Note 13 Series In India: Check 13 Biggest Changes Expected By Experts

That is why, the excitement around its upcoming launch of Redmi Note 13 series smartphone has already started taking a boom.

If you are wondering about the Redmi Note 13 series, it includes three devices having the Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+.

Notably, these devices are already launched and on sale in China.

While we wait for this upcoming launch in the country, this would be the right time to talk about the unique features expected to be launched in this latest Redmi Note series.

1. Curved Display & Sharper Resolution

In the history of a Redmi Note phone, this would be the first time ever the smartphone is going to feature a curved OLED display.

But not for all, as expected it would be available only for the top-notch of the series – Redmi Note 13 Pro+ as it is anticipated to come with a curved OLED display.

As we know that all the Redmi Note 12 phones support full-HD+ resolution displays.

But this time it is special as the Redmi Note 13 series, especially the higher models like the Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ are expected to come with a resolution bump with new panels sporting 1.5K resolution.

Please note here that the screen size will remain the same across the series at 6.67-inches as it was for the last year models.

2. 12-bit colors & 1920 PWM Dimming

A great improvement as it is going to be more colorful as it is replacing the earlier 10-bit panels from Note 12 series by more colorful 12-bit panels in both the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

The next feature is coming across the board on all the Redmi Note 13 devices is 1,920Hz PWM Dimming.

But obviously, it is not as good as what Honor 90 is offering but a better step in the right direction as we require more of these.

3. Enhanced Exterior With Gorilla Glass Victus & Aluminium Frame

As the heading suggests, the display on this series is fully loaded with top class protection.

To start with, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro will be sporting the Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus at the front.

Besides this, the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the entire Redmi Note 12 series will be having an aluminum frame instead of plastic.

4. Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Along With Dimensity 7200 Ultra

Powering the Redmi Note 13 Pro,with the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, it shows a minor upgrade over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, still it is a decent enough upgrade over the Dimensity 1080 inside the Redmi Note 12 Pro.

The Pro+ is set to feature a new chipset, i.e. the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra which is expected to be a retuned version.

5. Faster Storage With More RAM, IP68 rating & New Rear Cameras

The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be sporting a faster UFS 3.1 storage of up to 512GB which comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a significant upgrade over the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is offered with an IP68 rating in China, let’s see whether the Indian version of the phone will also have the same rating.

Besides this, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is also anticipated to have an under-display fingerprint sensor, again a first for any Redmi Note phone.

In the pictures front, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is set to offer a 200MP resolution camera as the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, but with a twist of a new sensor –  the Samsung HP3.

Coming to the pricing, we expect that the Redmi Note 13 will be priced around Rs 17,000, the Redmi Note 13 Pro around Rs 25,000 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ around Rs 30,000 in India.

Interestingly, these are almost around the same launch prices for the Redmi Note 12 series during its launch. Let’s see how it comes out in the future.
