With the start of the new year, this week seems to be very crucial for the upcoming smartphone launches.

 And why not as on January 4 itself, two big smartphone launches are scheduled for the consumers in the Indian market. 

Out of this, Vivo is launching its flagship Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, on the same day, Redmi will also be unveiling its Redmi Note 13 series. 

The Redmi Note 13 series consists of three smartphones including the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro Max.

While waiting for this launch, let’s go through information revealed by the teasers about the Redmi Note 13 series ahead of its launch. 

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G Series Features & Specifications

Display

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G series is confirmed to feature a display with super thin bezels with a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.

This upcoming smartphone is also expected to sport an AMOLED display supporting up to 12 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 

Design

When it comes to design, the teasers reveal gorgeous shades of pastels on the Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ models. 

Besides this, the teaser also features a purple color variant for these two models.

Additionally, Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will be super thin with a thickness of just 7.6 mm and a 173.5 g of weight. 

There is also speculation about an Arctic White color option for the Redmi Note 13 5G.

Camera

The Redmi Note 13 5G series is confirmed to pack a 108 MP triple camera setup.
Processor

When it comes to chipset, the Redmi Note 13 5G is confirmed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor, up to 20 GB RAM. 

It also includes the extended RAM feature by the company. 

Besides this, the device is expected to feature a maximum of 12 GB RAM onboard.

While, the remaining 8GB RAM will be RAM borrowed from the storage space on the device. 

In addition to that the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

Battery

So far, the smartphone maker has not confirmed the battery size for the Redmi Note 13 5G series.

But, the company has confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will be offered with 33W turbo charging support. 

Although, we are not sure about the kind of charging speeds this would provide.

From the teasers, one can deduce that the Mi Turbo charge which will allow the battery to be fueled from 0 to 100 percent in 33 minutes.
